Memorial Health System Presents Women’s History Month Panel Discussing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Memorial Health System in Gulfport, Mississippi concluded Women’s History Month with a profound discussion as part of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program. The hospital invited staff and community members to participate in the conversation.

On Tuesday morning, the panel discussion focused on this year’s national theme of women advocating for equity, diversity, and inclusion. Erin Rosetti, Memorial Health System Communications Manager, emphasized the importance of understanding implicit bias and listening to others’ experiences to create a healthier community and establish better relationships.

The panel included Chief Nursing Officer Mary Brobst, Director of Patient Financial Services Crystal Bowler, Healthcare Accreditation Coordinator Lucinda L’Enfant, and Family Nurse Practitioner Diane Edrington. This marked the third year that the event was held, with Rosetti expressing excitement about the program’s expansion.
