A resident of Sitni Gornji described a terrifying incident where a school minibus landed in their yard with five children inside. The driver was able to get the children out unharmed, but they were taken to a hospital in Split with only minor injuries.

The residents expressed their outrage at the authorities’ negligence in maintaining the roads and ensuring the safety of traffic, claiming that the accident could have been prevented if proper safety measures had been put in place. The resident also sympathized with the driver, who was also injured in the accident, and pointed out that the road was poorly maintained due to the rain.

One local resident described the road as “really ugly” and expressed frustration at the lack of attention given to their community by the authorities. Despite the traumatic experience, however, the residents are grateful that everyone involved escaped without serious injury.
