Nature Fresh Farms has partnered with Intel to incorporate AI technology into their farming practices in order to increase sustainability and reduce food waste. Through the use of AI-enabled technology, the farm can now track and manage various aspects of their operations such as climate, humidity, water usage, and transportation of produce. With over 2,000 sensors monitoring the growth process, data that once took a day to process can now be done in minutes.

This advancement allows Nature Fresh Farms to optimize factors like heating, cooling, humidity, and irrigation up to five times more frequently per day, ultimately leading to better growing results. Keith Bradley, Vice President of Information Technology and Security at Nature Fresh Farms, states that the technology enables them to remotely control the greenhouse operations from virtually anywhere.
