New Athletic Director Ed Scott Embarks on a New Era at Memphis University: Promising to Continue the Tradition of Excellence

Memphis welcomes Ed Scott as its new athletic director and senior vice president. Prior to joining Memphis, Scott served at the University of Virginia, where he led various sports programs including men’s basketball, baseball, swimming and diving, and track and field. He also worked as a special adviser to the head football coach.

At Virginia, Scott made significant contributions to the athletic department, which has prepared him well for his new role at Memphis.
