Downtown Business Alliance of SBY Thriving in Full Swing

A new business alliance has been launched in downtown Salisbury, with a focus on supporting revitalization, economic growth, and mutual support within the community. This collective voice aims to bring together businesses and stakeholders to work towards a common goal of creating a thriving and vibrant place for everyone.

During a ribbon cutting ceremony held at the intersection of Main and Division streets, the co-chairs of the alliance emphasized the importance of collaboration with local government to address issues such as rental assistance, rental programs, and grant assistance for local businesses. They also highlighted the need for unity within the community to create positive change and growth.

Nicole Blackwater, one of the co-chairs, spoke about her vision for Salisbury as a collaborative and thriving place where businesses can support each other. She expressed her desire for positive change through working together with other businesses in downtown Salisbury.

The first event organized by the alliance is set to take place this Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at Spring Street Market. The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will be supporting them as they expand their efforts across the city. The alliance aims to bring people together through events and initiatives that promote economic growth and support local businesses.
