New Strategic Plan Set to Boost DuPage County’s Community Services, Economic Development and Sustainability

The DuPage County Board has recently approved a strategic plan that outlines the goals and aspirations of both the board and the community for the future of the county. The plan, which was developed over the past 12 months by the Strategic Planning Committee, led by board member Sadia Covert, focuses on community services, economic development, and sustainability.

The committee’s decision to prioritize community services and economic development was motivated by a desire to promote local businesses, workforce development, and outreach programs for families, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.
