The UH Amherst Health Center, located next to the UH Amherst Beaver Creek Surgery Center, has recently been grand opened by University Hospitals. This expansion aims to provide the community with top-notch healthcare services in a convenient location. The health center, situated at 915 N. Lake St., Suite 100, offers a range of medical specialties including orthopedic care, radiology, physical therapy, ear, nose and throat, heart and vascular, primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health.
Dr. James Voos, the chair of the UH Department of Orthopedic Surgery, emphasized the commitment to expanding expert care and state-of-the-art facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. He expressed excitement about the opportunity to contribute to the development of this new comprehensive healthcare center. Despite the new campus, the commitment to providing high-quality care and serving the community remains unchanged.
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Zanotti has been a part of the Lorain County community for 27 years and expressed excitement about being able to contribute to this new facility. He looks forward to continuing to serve patients and support the community for years to come. In addition to providing top-notch medical services, University Hospitals also plans on opening a retail pharmacy in June that will further enhance the services available at this new healthcare center.
