On Monday, The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth announced the appointment of Dr. Darrius Douglas as its new vice provost of enrollment management. Coming from his previous role as dean of enrollment management at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Douglas brings over 21 years of experience in strategic policy development and leadership in areas such as student services, enrollment management, financial aid, and enrollment marketing to his new position.
In this newly created role, Douglas will oversee admissions, recruitment, financial aid, and the registrar’s office as part of HSC’s strategic enrollment plan. His proven track record in strategic enrollment, data analysis, and customer relationship management make him well-equipped to drive future growth and expansion at HSC.
Dr. Trisha Van Duser, senior vice provost at HSC, expressed her excitement about Douglas leading enrollment management at the institution. “Douglas’s expertise in strategic enrollment and customer relationship management make him a perfect fit for this role,” she said. “We are confident that he will be able to drive continued growth and expansion at HSC.”
Douglas holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education and Organizational Change, a Master of Science in Information Systems Project Management from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from DePaul University. During his time at the College of DuPage, he achieved a 5% increase in spring enrollment year-over-year and established a significant sponsorship with Amazon’s Career Choice Program.
