The 2023 World Swimming Championships in Doha have come to an end, and the final results are in. In the Women’s 400m Freestyle event, Erika Fairweather from New Zealand clinched the gold with a time of 3:59.44. Li Bingjie from China secured the silver with a time of 4:01.62, and Isabel Gose from Germany took home the bronze with a time of 4:02.39. Maria Fernanda Costa and Gabrielle Roncatto from Brazil finished in 4th and 5th place, respectively.
Moving on to the Men’s 4x100m Freestyle Relay, Australia secured the gold with a time of 3:36.93, while Canada took home the silver at 3:37.95 and Germany won bronze with a time of 3:37.98. The Netherlands also finished in the top eight of this event along with Italy, Hungary, Greece, Serbia, Spain and Great Britain.
In the Men’s 400m Freestyle event, Kim Woo-Min from South Korea took home gold with a time of 3:42.71, followed closely by Elijah Winnington from Australia with silver at 3:42.86 and Lukas Martens from Germany winning bronze at 3:42.96
