Jim Irsay’s daughter shares latest health update on Indianapolis Colts owner

In Orlando, at the NFL owners’ meetings, Kalen Irsay Jackson witnessed significant changes to kickoffs and tackling being approved. As the team’s vice chair/owner, she also made an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show” set, providing a health update on her father, CEO and team owner Jim Irsay.

“He’s not here because he’s still recovering, but everyone has been so kind and so gracious, asking about him,” Jackson stated. Describing her father as a tough individual, she mentioned that it will be a long road to recovery for him, but noted that he is improving every day without offering specific details.

Jim Irsay experienced a health event on December 8 at his home, where he was found unresponsive. Carmel police administered Narcan and he was transported to a hospital for treatment. In January, the team released a statement revealing that the 64-year-old is undergoing treatment for a respiratory illness. Since then, Irsay has remained out of the public eye but has occasionally shared updates on social media about his recovery journey. Despite facing challenges, his family and supporters remain optimistic about his progress.
