NFL Owners React to Players Association’s Grades with Mixed Feelings and Opportunity for Improvement

NFL owners have mixed feelings about the grades given by the NFL Players Association. While some are skeptical of the accuracy of the grades, others like Bengals executive V.P. Katie Blackburn see them as an opportunity for growth and improvement.

Blackburn believes that being open to feedback is essential for any organization to improve in the future, and she embraces the grades with a positive attitude. Despite receiving low marks this year for their treatment of families and food/cafeteria, Blackburn remains optimistic and willing to make changes based on the feedback provided.

The NFLPA will continue to issue these grades with the goal of improving the work experience for players. However, owners who ignore these grades do so at their own risk, as it may indicate a lack of attention to issues highlighted by the grades.

Overall, Blackburn’s approach sets a positive example for other owners in the league by embracing feedback as an opportunity for growth and improvement. The grading process is effective in sparking positive change in the NFL by helping players make informed decisions about where they want to play and encouraging owners to make improvements based on feedback provided.
