Odfjell Technology, a leading supplier of well services technology and engineering solutions, has recently secured three well services contracts in Malaysia. These new deals have boosted the company’s market share in the Asia Pacific region.
The company has won two contracts to provide wellbore clean up equipment and services to operators in the area. As part of these contracts, Odfjell Technology will be supplying its advanced tools such as the DrillRdillo tool, which is renowned for its ability to increase well productivity, improve integrity and reduce operational costs. The company will also provide other tools such as scrapers, brushes, magnets, weight set circulating tools, weight set swivels and circulating tools.
In addition to the wellbore clean up contracts, Odfjell Technology has also won a contract to provide tubular running services to an operator. The company will leverage its Casing Running Tool (CRTi) and Flush Mounted Spider (FMS) to enhance efficiency and safety for the customer’s drilling program. Within this scope of work, a range of slips, elevators, torque turn monitoring systems and rotary tables will also be provided.
All three contracts will be serviced by Odfjell Technology’s facilities in Malaysia. Gary Marshall, Area Manager Asia Pacific at Odfjell Technology stated that the Asia Pacific region is a key growth market for the company. He added that with these contracts they are further establishing their reputation for delivering top-notch technology and equipment to their customers while maintaining the highest standards of well integrity and intervention.
