The Houston-based organization that specializes in providing critical data science support to its clients has recently undergone a rebranding and entered a new era. Mercury Data Science, which was founded in 2017 as a spin-off of the local venture capital group Mercury, has now officially changed its name to OmniScience.
Led by CEO Angela Holmes, who assumed her position in 2022, OmniScience is committed to being a force for innovation in data science and life sciences through their new branding. The rebrand aligns with the company’s mission of supporting innovation at the intersection of biology and data science.
The new name is derived from “omniscient” and “science,” reflecting the company’s focus on technology and expertise. OmniScience’s software supports customers across various areas of the life science spectrum, including clinical trial navigation, purpose-built AI development, and other data science services.
With more than 20 employees listed on their website, OmniScience is poised to take a bold step into the future by playing a pivotal role in shaping the data science landscape in life sciences.
