Orange County Health Inspections Lead to Temporary Shutdown of Food Establishments

Food establishments in Orange County experienced a surge of closures between April 18 and April 25 due to health inspections. One of the restaurants that was ordered to shut down during this time period was Pad Thai located at 12620 Westminster Ave., Suite A in Santa Ana. The reason for the closure was a rodent infestation, but the restaurant was able to reopen on April 25.

On the same day, Pepz Pizza & Eatery at 646 S. Brookhurst St. in Anaheim also faced closure due to a cockroach infestation. However, this establishment was able to reopen on the same day.

In an update from the previous week, Nutricion Poderosa at 932 S. Euclid St. in Anaheim was closed on April 17 because of a cockroach infestation. Despite this setback, the restaurant was allowed to reopen on April 19 after addressing the issue and passing inspection by health officials.

This list is compiled weekly to keep members of the public informed about closures that have taken place in Orange County, as well as updates on their statuses during subsequent weeks. Information is sourced from OC Health Care Agency database records.
