Orange County Restaurant Closures: A Week in Health Violations and Infestations

During the week of April 25 to May 2, several restaurants and food vendors in Orange County were ordered to close due to various health violations. Among them was the kitchen at Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club in Newport Beach, which was shut down on May 1 due to a cockroach infestation but was allowed to reopen on May 2.

Another restaurant that was shut down during this period was Texas Pit Bar-B-Que in Lake Forest, although the reason for the closure was not provided. Similarly, San Clementa Sushi Co. in San Clemente closed on April 30 due to a rodent infestation but reopened on May 1.

Zankou Chicken in Anaheim was also temporarily closed on April 29 because of a cockroach infestation but was able to reopen on April 30. Other closures during the week included Orange County Pizza in Rancho Santa Margarita, Golden Rose Mediterranean Cuisine in Buena Park, CTB Eatery in Garden Grove, John’s Incredible Pizza Co. in Buena Park, Royal Wok in Orange, Cho Tam Bien in Garden Grove, and Seoul Haus in Irvine.

The list of closures is updated weekly based on inspections conducted by Orange County health inspectors. Status updates for each establishment are provided in the following week’s list. The information for this list is sourced from the OC Health Care Agency database.
