Patients in Intensive Care Units Transferred from Northern Hospitals to Prepare for Possible War with Hezbollah: Health Ministry Announcement

The Ministry of Health has announced that patients in intensive care units in hospitals in northern Israel have been transferred to hospitals in the center of the country. This move is being done to prepare for a possible war with Hezbollah, according to the Keshet TV channel.

According to a report on the Mako website, hospitals in the north are currently undergoing a process of redistributing patients who require intensive care, including those who are connected to ventilators. The transfer of patients is due to the relatively small size of Ziv, Poriya, and HaGalil hospitals, and the health system is trying to relieve them in case of an escalation of the conflict with Hezbollah.

Patients have been transferred to Sheba hospital in Tel Hashomer, Ichilov in Tel Aviv, and Rambam in Haifa. The news service of the Keshet TV channel reports that this is a step related to the preparation of the health care system and hospitals for a possible deterioration in the security situation in northern Israel.
