The 10th round of the Premier League passed without much incident, with mostly the hosts emerging victorious. With the season coming to a close, it is becoming increasingly clear how the big battles for entry into the Champions League will be fought.

In one of the matches of the day, Varaždin and Osijek faced off in League A. Osijek opened strong and took a commanding 5-0 lead over Varaždin. However, Varaždin quickly regained ground and by halftime, the score was tied at 17-14. In the end, it was Varaždin that emerged victorious with a final score of 35-29.

Zagreb also had a solid performance in their match against Gorica, despite resting some key players. Gorica led by a goal or two in the first half but Zagreb took control in the second half and won convincingly with a final score of 34-28.

Karlovac and Trogir played a closely contested match throughout, with Karlovac holding onto their lead for most of the game. Trogir waited for their chance but ultimately fell short and lost to Karlovac with a final score of 26-24.

Igor Vori’s team made an impressive comeback against Moslavina in their last meeting, winning outright in the final minutes to extend their streak to six games without defeat. Meanwhile, Križevci’s hopes for redemption were dashed as they fell to Poreč in straight sets with a final score of 25-19 and 25-18 respectively.
