The Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC) annual awards dinner was held on April 25th at Roma Lodge, with a theme of “Building Our Future Together.” The event recognized the achievements of RAMAC members for their roles in business improvement, growth, innovation, and community support. As the chamber of commerce in the Racine area, it is essential to acknowledge those driving the economy forward by providing goods or services, creating jobs or making investments in the community.
During this year’s celebration, RAMAC introduced new awards from the Academies of Racine in partnership with the Racine Unified School District. Businesses came together to celebrate shared purpose, vision and partnerships. The 2024 award recipients included categories such as Apollo Award for New and Innovative Business, Judy Moungey Award for Youth Apprenticeship, Nonprofit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Businessperson of the Year and several awards from the Academies of Racine. Among them were Lakeview Health, Siena on the Lake, Racine Habitat for Humanity, Lakeview Pharmacy Knapp Manufacturing Inc & Air Logic and many more.
