Microsoft is set to launch a new feature, Super Resolution, in Windows 11 aimed at enhancing the visual quality of games. The sneak peek of this feature was discovered in a hidden setting within a preview version of Windows 11 that is set to launch later this year.

With the help of AI, Super Resolution will be integrated seamlessly into Windows 11, making it effortless for users to boost the quality of their games. This information was revealed by @PhantomOfEarth on Twitter, who shared a tip-off about the feature’s existence in a test version of the upcoming Windows 11 update.

Another tech enthusiast, @Thebookisclosed, also stumbled upon this feature and shared a video on Twitter showcasing its capabilities. If you are interested in trying out this feature yourself, you can use ViveTool, which can be downloaded from GitHub.

To activate Super Resolution, you need to open the command prompt as an administrator and enter the activation key: vivetool /enable /id:39695921 /variant:3. Make sure to install the tool before entering the key and restarting your computer once activated. Once done correctly, Super Resolution should enhance your gaming experience by automatically improving game visuals with some smart technology behind it.
