At UC Berkeley, we are excited to introduce our new faculty member, Alane Suhr. Alane holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from Ohio State University (2016) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University (2022). Her research interests focus on building systems that interact and learn language through collaboration with human users in various contexts.
Alane is passionate about using technology to facilitate meaningful and productive interactions between humans and machines, and she brings her expertise and enthusiasm to the Computer Science department at UC Berkeley. With a background in computer science and a focus on developing language interaction systems, Alane is a valuable asset to our faculty team.
As an experienced researcher, Alane is eager to contribute to the innovative research and teaching initiatives at UC Berkeley. She looks forward to engaging with students and colleagues in the field of computer science and sharing her insights and expertise with the academic community. We are thrilled to have her join us and look forward to seeing her contributions shape the future of this exciting field.
