Emma Raducanu is set to face Elise Mertens in the Wimbledon third round today. The 21-year-old, who was pleased with her scrappy win in her Wimbledon debut, will face a tougher opponent in Mertens, the world No 33 in singles.
Raducanu’s match against Mertens is scheduled to be the third match on Court No 1, following Coco Gauff and Carlos Alcaraz. Play on Court No 1 begins at 1pm, so Raducanu could take the court around 4:30 to 5pm, depending on the length of the previous matches.
