Rome Health Tackles Growing Demand with $45.7 Million Expansion Project

This addition will replace the aging operating rooms and intensive care units, ensuring that patients receive care up to modern standards.

Since 2019, Rome Health has witnessed an increase in the number of patients seeking services. The hospital’s COO, Ryan Thompson, stated that all services have grown by nearly 30% during this time. In response to this rising need for care, the new project at Rome Health aims to address this challenge by modernizing facilities and improving efficiency. By streamlining the flow from pre-procedure to post-procedure care, the hospital hopes to expand its capacity for patients while maintaining quality care.

The $45.7 million project will result in updated operating rooms and intensive care units while keeping the same number of facilities. With nearly $44 million raised through public funding and private philanthropy, Rome Health is close to reaching its fundraising goal for the capital campaign.
