At approximately 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday, a Toyota 4Runner crashed into a downtown shop called Sugarfoot Books Inc., located at 615 San Anselmo Ave., in San Anselmo. The incident was reported by the Ross Valley Fire Department and no one was injured as a result of the accident. Battalion Chief Jake Peterson stated that the incident was an accident and that the driver was not suspected to be intoxicated.
Sugarfoot Books Inc. is a popular local bookstore that has been serving the community for over 30 years. The shop features a wide selection of new and used books, as well as rare and hard-to-find titles.
