Scarlett Johansson rumored to star in upcoming Jurassic World film

Scarlett Johansson is set to star in the latest installment of the popular dinosaur franchise, Jurassic World. This new movie could see Johansson following in the footsteps of her Marvel co-star Chris Pratt, who led the previous films.

Pratt starred in the 2015 movie Jurassic World and its sequels, which brought back original cast members Sam Neill and Laura Dern, and collectively earned over $1 billion globally. The new Jurassic World film will be directed by Gareth Edwards, known for his work on The Creator and Godzilla. The screenplay for the movie is being written by David Koepp, who penned the original Jurassic Park film back in 1993.

Scarlett Johansson has recently appeared in films like Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City and the comedy North Star. She is set to star alongside Channing Tatum in an untitled romantic comedy set during the 1960s space race. Additionally, Johansson will lead the TV series adaptation of the legal thriller Just Cause, written by recent Oscar-winner Cord Jefferson.

The upcoming reboot is expected to focus on a new set of characters, with production scheduled to begin soon for a release in summer 2025. Along with other big releases like Superman: Legacy and Mission: Impossible 8, this latest installment of Jurassic World is highly anticipated by fans of the series and is set to be a major summer blockbuster in 2025.
