Oops: Houthis Attacked a Ship in the Red Sea, Only to Discover it was Headed to Iran

The Greek company Star Bulk Carriers, which owns a ship flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, recently docked in Bandar Khomeini, Iran. The ship had sailed from Brazil and was carrying corn. Reportedly, two missiles were launched at the ship by the Houthis, but it did not receive a direct hit and only suffered minor damage. There were no casualties.

This incident follows an attack on another company ship in the Red Sea a few days ago by the Houthis. This is the first time that the Houthis have targeted a ship destined for Iran since they began attacking international shipping in the Red Sea.
