Silver City is gearing up to host some of the world’s top cyclists for the Tour of the Gila. The five-day bicycle race will begin on April 24 with one stage each day.
The event will feature a mix of road racing and time trials, giving cyclists a chance to showcase their skills in different disciplines. The final stage, stage five, will be the Gila Monster Road Race, which is sure to be a thrilling conclusion to the race.
Both men and women cyclists from around the globe will be competing in this prestigious event, including those who have previously competed in major races such as the Tour de France and Vuelta a España, as well as those who have earned Olympic berths.
In addition to the professional cyclists, there will be opportunities for amateur and citizen racers to participate in events throughout the five days. This gives individuals the chance to ride on the same roads as some of the world’s top cyclists and experience the excitement of competition firsthand.
