Small Business Owners Set to Connect with City Officials in Safford

As April 1st approaches, the first Safford Spotlight on Small Business event is fast filling up with only a few seats left to reserve. This event, set to take place at the Manor 415 Convention Center, offers small business owners an opportunity to connect with city officials and discuss how the city can better support their success.

Small business owners will have the chance to share what’s working well and what improvements could be made during this event. They will also learn about important business licensing requirements, the role of the city’s Planning and Community Development Department, and new reporting requirements for the Financial Crimes Network of the IRS.

Even seasoned small business owners may benefit from this event, as Mayor Richard Ortega highlighted the possibility of learning something new. The event will begin with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 a.m., followed by a 90-minute program at 7:30 a.m.

This event is free to attend but seats must be reserved online through Eventbrite. It is sponsored by the City of Safford, the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, and the Safford Downtown Association. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to connect with other small business owners and learn more about how you can grow your business in Safford!
