Solos has unveiled its latest innovation in smart glasses, the AirGo Vision. These glasses are equipped with GPT-4o and generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology that allows them to analyze visual input and provide real-time information based on what they see. This is similar to the functionality of Google Lens on a smartphone, but instead of pulling out your phone, wearers of the AirGo Vision can simply capture a photo and ask for information.
The AirGo Vision can answer multiple queries simultaneously, making it a versatile tool for everyday use. It features swappable frames that allow users to choose between having a front camera or not, as well as a built-in LED notification light that provides discreet alerts for incoming messages or notifications. This feature is especially helpful in noisy environments or for users who may have difficulty hearing notifications.
Solos’ previous model, the Solos AirGo3, also incorporated AI technology with ChatGPT at CES 2024. While the AirGo3 utilized audio for interacting with ChatGPT, the AirGo Vision takes it a step further by enabling visual input for searching information. With three styles of LED-only frames set to launch in July, the AirGo Vision will be available later this year with an MSRP of $249.99.
