Hans K. Reisch, grandson of Spar founder Hans F. Reisch, has been appointed as the new CEO of Spar AG with immediate effect. The supervisory board of Spar Austria has made this decision after the previous CEO, Mag. Fritz Poppmeier became necessary.

Hans K. Reisch (61) will continue to work together with the three existing board colleagues Mag. Markus Kaser, Mag. Paul Klotz and Mag. Marcus Wild form the board of directors of Spar AG. This step towards reorganization was taken after the previous CEO’s departure due to illness.

Hans K. Reisch is a proven management team member and has been a member of the board since 2001 and became deputy chairman in 2021. He had already been very successful in this role for a year. Fritz Poppmeier represent Mag. Marcus Wild (61) is also a member of an owner family and has been on the board of Spar AG since 2021
