Spartan Yogis Unite: Free Yoga Sessions in the Beal Botanical Garden

The Beal Botanical Garden is set to host free yoga sessions this summer, thanks to a collaboration between MSU Recreational Sports and Fitness Services, University Health and Wellbeing, Student Life & Engagement, and the Beal Botanical Garden. As stated by Courtney Placinta, Communications Director for University Health and Wellbeing, the aim of Yoga in the Garden is to provide health and wellbeing opportunities for Spartans.

The sessions will take place under the ginkgo tree in the garden for the entire season. Participants do not need to register in advance for each session. Instead, it is recommended to bring water and a yoga mat or towel, and to dress appropriately for the weather. In case of bad weather, any canceled classes will be announced on social media.

There are three different sessions planned for each season: Summer I (May 28, June 11, 18, 25), Summer II (July 9
