“Retirement is an exciting time, but it can also be a stressful period when it comes to your health coverage. If you or your sponsor are approaching retirement from active duty or the National Guard or Reserve, it’s important to know your options and how to keep your TRICARE coverage. Join TRICARE for a webinar on May 23, from 4 to 5 p.m. ET, where you will learn about the available health plans and how to maintain your coverage during retirement.
During the webinar, “TRICARE Options in Retirement,” you will receive guidance on keeping your TRICARE coverage when you retire. You will also learn about new options for vision and dental coverage. TRICARE experts will be available to answer any questions you may have.
As described in the TRICARE Retiring from Active Duty Brochure and TRICARE Retiring from the National Guard or Reserve Brochure, retiring from active duty and retiring from the National Guard or Reserve at age 60 are both TRICARE Qualifying Life Events (QLEs). This means that you have 90 days to make a change in your TRICARE health plan enrollment after these events occur.
Take advantage of this resource and attend this webinar on May 23 to ensure that you are well-informed and prepared for retirement with TRICARE.”
