Panthers Make Contact with Stephon Gilmore: Report

The Panthers are rumored to be considering the return of Stephon Gilmore, a veteran cornerback with experience in the NFL. According to Joe Person of TheAthletic.com, Gilmore, who is 33 years old, previously played for Carolina in the latter part of the 2021 season after being traded from the Patriots in exchange for a sixth-round pick. During his time with the Panthers, Gilmore appeared in nine games with eight starts, tallying 16 total tackles and two interceptions.

Gilmore then signed a two-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts and started in all 16 games in 2022.
