Students from East China University of Science and Technology emerge victorious in entrepreneurial competition

The 14th Shanghai University Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition was recently held at Donghua University, with a student from the East China University of Science and Technology emerging as the winner. Over 68,000 students from 78 universities and vocational schools across Shanghai participated in the competition, which had five tracks focusing on technical innovation, future industries, and rural revival and modernization. Key issues covered included ecological civilization, green and low-carbon development, cultural creativity, regional trade and collaboration, social governance, and public services.

Zhong from Shanghai University of Engineering Science expressed his excitement about the competition while showcasing a hydrophobic aluminum film solution he worked on with two classmates. The final of the competition was hosted by Donghua University and provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and innovations. The top teams from the competition were selected to represent Shanghai at the national entrepreneurship competition to be held in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province in September according to the youth league committee.
