Suspended Flights to Tel Aviv: Air Canada and EasyJet Follow suit after Israeli Attack

Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline, suspended flights from Toronto to Tel Aviv following Iran’s strike on Israel. They announced that flights would not resume until July due to unstable conditions in the region. On the night of April 14, Israeli airspace was closed for seven hours as Iran attacked Israel with missiles and drones. Despite Ben Gurion International Airport operating normally since then, many foreign airlines have still not resumed flights to Tel Aviv.

In particular, EasyJet, a British budget company, announced the suspension of flights to Israel until October 27. This decision reflects ongoing concerns about the stability of the region following the recent attacks. Other airlines are closely monitoring the situation before resuming flights to Tel Aviv.

The aviation industry is grappling with the impact of the conflict in the region, making decisions about flight operations based on security considerations. Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for updates and changes to flight schedules as the situation continues to evolve.
