Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) Unveils New Chip Manufacturing Technology Ahead of U.S. Rival Intel

At a conference in Santa Clara, California, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) announced that their new chip manufacturing technology, “A16”, is set to enter production in the second half of 2026. This technology will enable the delivery of power to computing chips from the backside of the chip, which will help accelerate artificial intelligence chips.
