Didier Burban, the founder of a successful wooden pallet recycling business in France, reflects on his journey over the years. At just 22 years old, he started collecting and reselling used wooden pallets. Today, his company has grown to 30 sites and 650 employees, with over 180 of them located in Loiret.
Looking back, Burban admits that the pallet market is closely tied to the economy and can fluctuate accordingly. Despite experiencing a slowdown in the market this year, with turnover projected to drop by 10%, Burban remains optimistic about the future. He is even considering acquiring new companies to expand the business, showing no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
As he looks forward to the future, Burban remains determined to continue steering his company’s course for many years to come. Despite nearing sixty, he remains enthusiastic about leading his company into the future with a strong vision and sense of determination. For him, time may fly but the journey is far from over.
