This summer, the NBA’s sixth annual California Classic will have a new format with the Kings and Warriors teaming up to host an expanded dual California Classic event in Sacramento and San Francisco. The event will take place at Golden 1 Center on July 6, 7, and 9 featuring the Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Charlotte Hornets. Chase Center will host events on July 6, 7, and 10 with the Warriors, Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat.
A total of 12 games will be played showcasing rookies from the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, sophomore players, and others looking to make NBA and G League rosters. The final game will be between the Warriors and Kings on July 10 at Chase Center.
Modified game play rules, including 10-minute quarters, will be in place for the summer league games. Team rosters, game matchups, entertainment, fan activations, broadcast information, and ticket options will be announced at a later date.
