In Augusta, Georgia, Tiger Woods of the U.S. acknowledges the crowd on the 18th green after completing his second round at The Masters at the Augusta National Golf Club on April 8, 2023.
Tiger Woods will make a return to competitive action at the Hero World Championship, his first PGA Tour start since undergoing ankle surgery in April. The tournament will take place from November 30 to December 3 in Albany, Bahamas and features six top-10 players in its 20-player field, including American world number one Scottie Scheffler.
Woods did not participate in any major tournaments this year due to his ankle operation and missed out on the PGA Championship, U.S. Open and British Open. However, he has been playing a limited competition schedule since suffering serious leg injuries in a car crash in 2021.
