Comedy Dynamics Acquires Tony Rock Special ‘Rock The World’

Tony Rock: Rock the World, a special by comedian Tony Rock, has been acquired by Comedy Dynamics for release later this year. Filmed at The Long Beach Laugh Factory while on a break from his “Rock The Mic Comedy Tour,” the special offers a fresh perspective on post-pandemic life, discussing Black culture, gender, and relationships.

Tony Rock is a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry. He has been in the stand-up scene since the late 90s and is known for his work on sitcoms like Living Biblically and appearances on series like Everybody Hates Chris and All of Us. He also hosts a podcast called Live from the Green Room and has founded the MyROCK Diabetes Foundation in memory of his father.

Directed by Sam Brownfield, Rock the World is produced by Dana Marshall and Charleston Rock. Tony Rock expressed pride in the project, stating that it represents a significant milestone in his career and is some of his best work yet. Brian Volk-Weiss, Founder and CEO of Comedy Dynamics, expressed excitement about working with Tony Rock, calling the project a must-watch.

Comedy Dynamics has previously released specials from comedians like Ali Wong, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari, Jim Gaffigan, and Pete Davidson. The company has also worked on projects for film and TV, including Netflix’s Down to Earth with Zac Efron.
