Passenger Passes Away During Royal Caribbean’s 9-Month Ultimate World Cruise

On February 12th, tragedy struck the Serenade of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. A passenger on board has died, as confirmed by Royal Caribbean. The company expressed its deepest sympathy and support to the deceased passenger’s loved ones and stated that they would not be sharing any further information at this time.

E! News has reached out to Royal Caribbean for their comment but has not yet received a response. The news of the passenger’s death originally came from a TikToker named Adita, who posted a video about it before deleting it. According to People, she mentioned that an elderly lady had passed away the night before and that she witnessed her body being taken out.

The Serenade of the Seas set sail on its 274-night Ultimate World Cruise back in December, with tickets reportedly sold for $53,999. The cruise became a viral sensation as passengers shared their experiences on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Despite this tragic incident, Royal Caribbean continues to offer cruises to those looking for adventure and relaxation at sea.
