Launching today: Trillium Tailored Plan, a health insurance solution for Medicaid recipients and the uninsured

Trillium Health Resources, a healthcare organization in the east, has announced the launch of a new healthcare plan aimed at improving the health and well-being of uninsured individuals and those on Medicaid in multiple counties. The new plan, known as the Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plan or Trillium Tailored Plan, is designed to help people manage their behavioral and physical health services effectively.

As a specialty care manager, Trillium Health Resources supports individuals with substance abuse, mental illness, and intellectual/developmental disabilities. This new plan is specifically tailored for those who fall under these categories or are dealing with serious mental illness, severe substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, NC Innovations Waiver members, and those on the waitlist. The organization will be serving 46 counties through this plan.

The Trillium Tailored Plan offers several benefits that are designed to improve the health outcomes of its members. Some of these benefits include new benefits for physical and pharmacy services, non-emergency medical transportation, a nurse line that is available 24/7 to answer questions about health concerns and provide advice on how to manage chronic conditions effectively. Additionally, the plan includes physical health prevention programs that aim to help members stay healthy by providing them with information about nutrition and exercise habits.

Trillium Advantage is another value-added service that is available to all members of the Trillium Tailored Plan. This service provides members with access to discounts on healthcare products and services such as eyewear, hearing aids, dental procedures, and more. Members can also receive personalized care plans that are designed to meet their unique needs and goals.

Overall, Trillium Health Resources is committed to providing comprehensive care for individuals with a focus on behavioral health needs while working towards improving access to quality healthcare services for all eligible members.

Trillium Health Resources has updated its website with information about the new plan and has reached out to eligible members regarding their participation in this program. Eligible individuals can enroll in the plan starting from July 1st.
