The Tulsa World is once again honoring the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with the All-World Awards. This year, the finalists for winter sports will be announced throughout the week, starting with boys and girls swimming on Wednesday, followed by boys and girls wrestling on Thursday, boys basketball on Friday, and girls basketball on Saturday. On Sunday, the World’s All-State boys and girls basketball teams will be announced.
In addition to winter sports, the 2023-24 All-World honors will also include football, softball, volleyball, girls cross country, and boys cross country. The spring sports finalists will be announced in early June, along with winners for specialty awards such as the best comeback, inspirational and scholar athletes, and a lifetime achievement award winner. The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be revealed at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet, presented by Bill Knight Automotive, on Thursday, June 20 at the Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall. Tickets for the banquet can be purchased for $75 on allworldawards.com, with limited seating available.
