Top Players at Turning Stone Win Record $6.2 Million in World Series of Poker Payouts

The 2024 Turning Stone event sent 18 “Gold Ring” winning players to the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions main event in Las Vegas, a record for the Turning Stone event. This year’s tournament attracted over 16,000 entries from players representing 38 states and four Canadian provinces. Ethan Bennett of Brooklyn was crowned WSOP Main Event Champion, winning $298,546 and his first-ever Gold Ring.

The tournament at Turning Stone’s Events Center ran from March 14 to March 25, marking the third year that Turning Stone has hosted World Series of Poker events. As the only casino in the Northeast to host a WSOP circuit event, Turning Stone joins fewer than 20 casinos across the country in providing this prestigious gaming event. Several players from Central and Western New York also won money and Gold Ring tickets to the Vegas tournament.
