U.S. Urges Israel for Transparency over Mass Graves in Gaza Strip Amid Ongoing West Bank Settlement Concerns

On Wednesday, the United States expressed concern over the discovery of mass graves at Naser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip. With over 320 bodies recovered, Washington found the situation worrying and disturbing. The U.S. is urging Israel to provide more information on the matter.

Vedant Patel, the deputy spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, emphasized the seriousness with which the accusations are being taken. The U.S. is calling for an independent investigation into the matter and is urging Israel to allow human rights investigators and forensic experts access to the site to preserve evidence and hold those accountable for possible war crimes.

The Israeli Army denies the accusations, stating that the bodies were examined as part of efforts to locate hostages during a raid on the hospital.
