Sole proprietorships also experienced an increase of 3% to 234,060 active licenses. One-person companies experienced significant growth of 21%, reaching 120,326 companies. Additionally, local company branches, branches of companies from another emirate, and private joint-stock companies all saw increases in the number of licenses.
