Unleash Your Inner Athlete: St. Joseph’s First-Ever Local Business Dodgeball Tournament

A unique and exciting opportunity awaits local businesses in St. Joseph next month as the inaugural Local Business Dodgeball Tournament takes place at Kennedy Community School on May 29th. This event, organized by the St. Joe Parks and Recreation department, is open to all businesses looking for a fun and competitive way to come together and showcase their skills.

Rhonda Juell, Director of St. Joe Parks and Recreation, was inspired to create this tournament after seeing a successful dodgeball tournament in Arizona. She reached out to local businesses in St. Joseph to gauge interest and received overwhelming support from companies across the community. The tournament is also open to businesses from outside of St. Joseph, with each team requiring a minimum of eight players to participate.

With 16 teams already signed up, Juell hopes that even more businesses will join in on the fun and register before the deadline of May 23rd. Registration is just $20 per team, making it an affordable way for any business to participate in this exciting event.

The double-elimination format promises intense competition, with the winning team receiving a championship trophy to proudly display in their office or storefront. With no other events like this happening in St. Joseph before now, it’s sure to be an unforgettable day filled with laughter, camaraderie and friendly rivalry among competitors.

If you’re interested in participating or want more information about the event, visit the provided link for registration details today! Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this historic first-of-its-kind event that aims to bring our community closer together through sport and competition!
