The Elite racers are currently in a race against the clock to determine who will advance to the semi-finals following the Timed Training session. In the first race of 2024, Tahnee Seagrave has shown strong form coming out of the off-season by taking the top spot in the Elite Women’s qualifying round. She crossed the finish line with a time nearly two seconds faster than the next rider, showing her determination to secure a second elite win at Fort William.
Nina Hoffmann finished the session in second place with a consistent run that kept her in touch with the leader until split four, where she lost around a second to the top qualifier. Anna Newkirk put on an impressive performance, making gains in the bottom sectors and ending her qualifying ride in third place.
