In an annual letter to investors published on March 17, 2023, Larry Fink, the chairman and CEO of BlackRock, the world’s biggest asset management firm, highlighted the thrilling developments taking place in the digital assets space. By contrast, several created markets, such as the U.S., are lagging behind in innovation, leaving the expense of payments a great deal larger.”

The chairman also highlighted the prospective of tokenization of asset classes that could drive efficiencies in capital markets, shorten worth chains, and boost expense and access for investors.
