Amateur golfer Kris Kim, 16, impresses golf world by making cut in PGA Tour debut

Golf history was made by sixteen-year-old amateur golfer Kris Kim during his debut on the PGA Tour. Kim became the youngest player to make the cut in nine years, and also set a record as the youngest player to make the cut at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. He impressed with a three-under-68 first round and a four-under-67 second round at the tournament in McKinney, Texas, showing remarkable composure for his age.

Kim’s mother, Ji-Hyun Suh, introduced him to golf at a young age and has played a huge role in his success. Kim has had a successful amateur career, winning various championships in the past year before making his debut on the PGA Tour.
