Apple has announced the release of new, high-performance iPad tablets on Tuesday. The star of the lineup is the iPad Pro, which features an OLED screen and is powered by the M4 chip with AI capabilities. This makes it the most powerful device in its category on the market. The M4 chip, built with second-generation 3-nanometer technology, offers significant improvements in performance and capabilities, particularly in AI tasks.
In addition to the new iPad Pro, Apple also unveiled several other products including the Apple Pencil Pro and a lighter, thinner Magic Keyboard. They also introduced enhanced versions of Final Cut Pro video editing and Logic Pro music production applications. The iPad Air was also redesigned and comes in sizes of 11 and 13 inches, powered by the M2 chip with AI capabilities.
The new 6th generation iPad Air is available in various configurations based on screen size, connectivity, and storage capacity. Customers can now reserve it in the Apple store and it will start shipping next week. CEO Tim Cook called it a big day for the iPad since its launch.
